Edit an Existing Test Case

This article will guide you through the process of editing an existing test case using BotGauge.

Step 1: Locate the Test Case You Wish to Edit

You have two options for this. You can either search for the test case in the provided search bar,

which will display only the folders containing the specific test case,

or you can directly open the test case folder

and select the test case name. This action will open up the browser.

Step 2: Click on the Start Button to Make Edits

To make edits, click on the Start button,

which will launch the browser within our application. Once the browser starts, you're ready to modify the existing steps. Note that it typically takes 15 to 20 seconds for the browser to start.

Step 3: Edit Existing Steps or Add New Ones

With the browser running, you're set to edit any of the steps or add new ones. To edit an existing step, click on the Edit button

and make your desired changes.

Once you're done with your edits, click on OK,

and

you're also able to add new steps using the same method.
